Meeting the challenges facing your team or organisation
“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
At Inspire Transformation we take a client centred approach to help businesses and organisations identify the challenges and issues facing their staff and then tailor specific training programmes to enable your management and staff to address them.
Such issues may involve:
- Low productivity due to poor communication and internal conflicts
- Inadequate performance management or leadership
- Poor staff motivation or commitment
- Increased incidences of stress, sickness, absenteeism or presenteeism
Our approach
We support clients in looking at their systems and processes, skills and competence, as well as the organisational culture to identify where changes need to be made.
For example:
- Do the systems and processes associated with the
problem need revising, enhancing or even abandoning?
Typical symptoms: People paying lip service to staff appraisals as the process is too complex; using processes that have existed for a long time without question their current validity and usefulness; email overload masking key priorities - Are your staff’s skills and competence sufficient to carry out their
roles and perform to their highest potential?
Typical symptoms: managers and supervisors with poor interpersonal skills; day-to-day performance management that focuses on telling people what do rather than coaching them; demotivating ‘return-to-work’ interviews that imply fault - In what ways does the organisational culture define
how things are done (or not done)?
Typical symptoms: A ‘hands-on’ management style that deters initiative; entrenched attitudes that frustrate organisational change; work-life balance policies that are not modelled by senior managers
What we do
We facilitate clients in identifying issues, potential solutions and the best ways of achieving them through SMT meetings, away days (including event design and reporting), strategic or problem solving meetings and project groups.
We provide consultancy advice on the systems, processes, skills and abilities required, including the recruitment and selection of appropriate staff, their induction, training and development and their management and leadership.
We support this as required with additional training and development programmes for senior management, effective team working and communications skills and personal development.
Finally, as part of an on-going training programme, or as a stand-alone initiative, we can deliver coaching programmes to all levels of management.

“Norbar is similar to many organisations. We have a vision and a strategy to move the business forward and people play a huge part in that strategy. The challenge comes in taking the theory and turning it into practice. Melanie has proved a key part of winning that challenge.”
